The Divine Dialogue
This is the story of how a moment of quiet inspiration blossomed into a journey of artistic expression, where dreams, nature, and divinity intertwine on the canvas.
As a child, I had always loved paintings. Although I rarely indulged in creating my own, whenever I did, my modest attempts felt like masterpieces to me. The act of painting was like capturing a fragment of my soul and translating it onto the canvas.
It was on that destined day, amidst the gallery’s treasures, that I encountered a landscape painting so alive, it seemed to breathe. It was more than just colors and shapes; it was alive, murmuring to me in a language beyond words. Between me and the painting, there was an energy, a sacred stillness, a conversation without sound. It was as if the artist, through their creation, had channeled a slice of the divine. It whispered to me; a symphony of secrets meant for my heart alone.
To me, landscapes are divine signatures, each a masterpiece by the greatest artist—nature itself. This painting was a mirror to that divinity, a bridge to something greater. I wondered if the others around me were also touched by this silent communion with the divine.
In the quiet embrace of this esteemed Art Gallery, a silent prayer was born within me. It was a wish unspoken, yet fervent: that one day, my paintings would grace these walls, and those who came to see them would feel the divine presence that once moved me. I hoped they would find happiness, joy, and tranquility in the strokes and colours of my art.
Years drifted by, and the dream remained a quiet ember. Until one day, compelled by an inner call, I picked up the brush. When the time came to launch my website, the first words I wrote were, “Art by Vinita is all about the connection with self, you, and this wonderful existence.” These words took me back to that moment in the gallery, to the divine force that had once whispered to me through a painting. I realized they were a reflection of that long-held prayer. It was as if the same divine force that had once spoken to me through the painting had guided my hand. Unconsciously, I had woven the same emotion, the same sacred energy, into the very essence of my work.
Now, as I watch people in galleries standing before my paintings, I see the emotion in their eyes. They speak of feeling a divine touch in my work, a sense of joy and peace. Their expressions mirror the awe I once felt, and my heart fills with gratitude. My silent wish has blossomed, affirming that dreams cradled with faith do find their wings.
Each painting I create is a conversation with the divine, a silent symphony shared between the canvas, the viewer, and the beyond. It’s a testament to the belief that artists are messengers, echoing the beauty of creation through their art. And in this journey, I am humbled and thankful for the divine presence that turns art into a window to the soul.
Love Vinita Sadarangani 🙂
