This started as a practice painting which turned out beautifully well. I think I have done a wonderful job in capturing the serenity of the mountains and the evergreen trees around. The icy cold stream flowing melodiously makes me want to dip my hands in it. Its a beautiful piece which makes the eye wander into the beauty of it. Nature is healing and I feel this painting too has the qualities to heal and soothe the soul. May it always bring up a smile in you.

I have named this painting ‘Impression‘ as it misses out on the details of the scape and beautifully depicts the necessary. I personally love the movement of the icy cold water, which adds a sense of rhythm to the piece. The blue adds to the drama and creates a sense of mystery. I could term it as a poetic work of art, a beautiful one indeed.

A beautiful piece of work by one of my favorite artist inspired me to recreate this scene .
Moving water is one of the most beautiful spectacles of nature … For me the sounds of the rushing stream is rejuvenating, soothing and meditative. Science explains that seeing or hearing the soothing sounds of moving water increases blood flow to the brain and heart and makes us happier, healthier, calmer and more creative.
I have tried my best to convey the flow and capture the dynamic nature of water here. I hope this painting is a treat to your eyes, and you enjoy looking at it as much as I did while painting it.
