Capturing Romance in Paintings
There is something about painting romance that just makes my heart happy. I love the idea of capturing the love between two people in a painting. I feel like it’s such a beautiful thing, and I enjoy capturing the happiness and togetherness between them. It’s just so special to me. I’ve been painting romance for years now, and it’s always been one of my favorite subjects. I find it especially romantic to paint the expression of love in landscapes, like snow-covered forests or beaches at sunset. I think it’s because those are the kinds of places that make you feel incredibly small in the face of all that beauty. It’s a reminder that there’s so much out there to experience and to be grateful for, and that’s a great feeling.

This started as a practice painting which turned out beautifully well. I think I have done a wonderful job in capturing the serenity of the mountains and the evergreen trees around. The icy cold stream flowing melodiously makes me want to dip my hands in it. Its a beautiful piece which makes the eye wander into the beauty of it.
