Watercolor Workshop at Coos Art Museum, Coos Bay, OR
I will be teaching a three day workshop at the Coos Art Museum in Coos Bay, Oregon on January 25, 26, 26, 2008. The class will be from 9 am to 4 pm. The cost is $260 for members and $300 for non-members.
Join me for an enjoyable, inspiring and educational workshop. I strive to create a relaxed, lighthearted atmosphere for the class so that students feel comfortable and confident at any level. Each day, I will demonstrate my painting processes, beginning with technical framework and interjecting the vital ingredients of emotion and expression.
Emphasis is placed on simplicity through the power of intended design, integrated color and quality of brushstrokes, all of which work together to form a meaningful and lively watercolor painting. With a well-planned schedule, there is adequate time for personal painting and one-on-one assistance. During the casual critique, I will reinforce concepts and encourage development of personal style. Participants will come away with new skills, renewed energy and the inspiration essential for wonderful watercolor
paintings!
