Seven of my painting friends and I recently headed to Florence, Oregon for a three day painting retreat at the Oregon coast. We had a wonderful time! What a fun and enjoyable workshop! Thursday was spent on the grounds of the Umpqua Valley Arts Association. I did a quick demo showing the process of creating a value study and a color sketch, then the class spread out to work individually. The weather was perfect with nice evening light.
